As many of you will be aware, the Scottish Open Shoot was last held in Caithness in 1988. On that occasion the shooting range was located at a disused part of Wick Airport which, unfortunately, is unavailable for this year's event.

The 2005 Scottish Open will be held at Thurdistoft, near Castletown, permission for use of the site kindly granted by local businessman, Geroge Campbell. The site at Thurdistoft is located on an old Airfield that was used by the RAF during the 2^nd World War. Click here for further information on Our Location.

An additional feature which will be available at this year's range is the provision of an information tent. We hope that competitors will make use of this resource to assist in planning any excursions, booking restaurants or for general enquiries. Tickets, for the bus tour will be available at the information tent.
