The simplest route to the Thurdistoft range is to follow the A9 north of Inverness all the way to Thurso. When you arrive in Thurso, turn right at the first set of traffic lights and follow the signs for John O'Groats.

Follow the road through Castletown taking the sharp right hand bend past the west end of Dunnet beach, and then take the first right. The range is situated about 1 mile up this road. Temporary signposting will be in place close to the range to help direct you there.
